JOnAS Roadmap

JOnAS 4.8 stable version is ready since December 2006. This is a very professional version with high level clustering and management features. This is the first "Enterprise Edition", meaning for Bull support customers that a 3 years support is available on this version.
Early 2008, a JOnAS 4.9 version will bring some new features.
JOnAS 5 serie will bring two major enhancements, first a new services architecture, then the compliance to Java EE 5.

The main steps are scheduled as follow:

Dec. 2007, JOnAS 5.0
- a version re-engineered on OSGi
- enhancements mainly regarding cluster features
Nov 2008, JOnAS 5.1
- Java EE 5 compliant version
